In the film there is a point where Sonya Song (Arnold Joseph's ex-girlfriend) asks Thomas if he wants lies or if he wants the truth. Thomas responds by saying "I want both." This is evidence of Thomas as a trickster character.
FALSE! Thomas says he wants truth or lies because he is a storyteller. He only wants a good story and likes telling good stories so lies and truth are both good with him.
Just because he tells storties that aren't always true doesnt mean hes trying to trick people. when any story is told there always exagerated never fully the whole thing. its always a little more exagerated then needed. who wants a boring story?

ReplyDeleteThomas is not a trickster character. He is a storyteller. It is not tricking someone when you ask for both. He just wanted both sides of the story.
